There’s no shortage of musical enjoyment in the “Music City” famous for the Grand Ole Opry performances at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Each year the CMA Music Festival (known as Fan Fair) brings thousands of country fans to the city.
It’s just minutes to the Ellington Agricultural Center, the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, Tennessee State Fairgrounds, Nashville Convention Center, Bridgestone Arena and LP Field. And there are plenty of historical sites to visit, most notably Civil War battle sites such as the Battle of Nashville and the nearby Battle of Franklin and Battle of Stones River. There are also several large plantations still standing.
